Full course description

To register for this course, please go to HERE. Do not use this form (we are transitioning registration systems). Thanks for your understanding. If you have any questions, please email hthompson@una.edu.

Note: only people who have taken the 2.5 day Pracitioner's training after November 2016 may enroll in this course. If you are interested in taking the 2.5 day training, email (info@strategicdoing.net) to learn more about training opportunities. This course will help you solidify the skills you learned in the 2.5 day in-person training, helping groups form collaborations quickly, move them toward measurable outcomes and make adjustments along the way. Ten modules will guide you all the way through the process of developing and delivering a Strategic Doing workshop - from identifying the right opportunity to ongoing follow-up through 30/30 meetings. The course includes videos, discussion forums, short quizzes, and assignments related to your workshop, which you'll deliver in the middle of the course. Plan on spending ~2 hours/week completing your work for the course (some weeks more, some less). The course is largely "asynchronous" - in other words, you can complete the work whenever it fits into your schedule (there are a few live "watering hole" sessions via Zoom that are highly recommended, but optional . The content is planned to span 10 weeks (1 module/week), but there are two weeks after the 10th week to "catch up" on your assignments if needed. Successful completion of this course is approved for 3.0 CEUs from the Center for Leadership & Professional Development. Completion and a recommendation from the instructor will earn you the Certified Workshop Leader designation from the Strategic Doing Institute, and a "digital credential" for social media, websites, etc. Colleagues and potential employers will see exactly what you've done to earn the credential and what your new skills are. You'll also be listed on the Strategic Doing website. Certification is valid for two years.
